A presentation ‘Canada in Slow Motion’ recently took place at the Barley Mow pub in Westboro. The subject was a 7,700 km ride across Canada from Vancouver to St. John’s in 2019 by 76 year-old FFO member Richard Hatherill. This was a cycling and camping adventure organized by Tour du Canada with 22 participants that took 72 days starting on the 20th of June and ending on the 30th of August. Richard described the trials and tribulations, the sense of accomplishment, and showed photos of the spectacular scenery he saw.
