Friendship Force International

Friendship Force International is a worldwide network of clubs and individuals that advance our mission of promoting global understanding across the barriers that separate people. We do this by connecting people from different countries at a personal level. When local hosts open their homes to visitors from other countries and cultures, true understanding can develop through the sharing of meals, conversation and the routines of daily life.
Friendship Force Ottawa (FFO)
Journeys are the core activity of Friendship Force Ottawa and serve to facilitate learning about other countries and cultures through homestays. A homestay usually last up to seven days, and includes activities planned and accompanied by hosts. We travel in the company of fellow club members to visit other people and we in turn host in our homes and community. These visits, whether outbound or inbound, are called Journeys.
