Friendship Force?

Founded in 1977 in the United
States with a single mission "To
create an environment where personal friendships can be established across
barriers that separate people."
Friendship Force is a private, non-aligned organization which fosters
international friendship and understanding through homestays, and home-hosting.
People from all walks of life, from all parts of the world, share lives and
are enriched through the sharing of cultures.
Friendship Force has some 350 member clubs in 56 countries throughout the

Club
The Friendship Force of Ottawa club was formed in 1994 and today has a
membership of about 183 members representing all walks of life and ages of
the people of our National Capital.

About Ottawa (Click for More Details)
Ottawa, the
National Capital of Canada, is located at the confluence of three rivers some
200 km. (120 miles) west of the city of Montreal.
With its sister city, Gatineau, located across the Ottawa River, the area has
a population of 1 million people. The cultural life of Ottawa is enhanced by
its National centers and recreational opportunities abound for hiking,
biking, skating and skiing.
